VLY GRL Zine: Issue Two

VLY GRL strives to smash the “bimbo Valley Girl” stereotype, and this zine is our main way of doing that. This is the second issue of this compilation zine series, which is a collection of visual art, poetry, short fiction, and essays by creative women from or residing in the San Fernando Valley.

This year’s theme of Transformation was interpreted in many ways by the artists featured in this issue, and in the end we hope to transform the perception of the Valley Girl. These entries are moving, thought-provoking, empowering, and joyful. We hope you enjoy reading, viewing, and sharing them. Mature content. Not appropriate for kids.
